Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy focuses on improving a child’s ability to participate in everyday activities, such as self-care, school tasks, play, and social interaction. “Occupation” refers to all the meaningful activities a child does throughout the day — like eating, dressing, writing, playing, or learning.
At Sankalp, our Occupational Therapists assess each child’s physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional strengths and challenges to design a personalized therapy plan.
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy at Sankalp Rehabilitation Centre is designed to help children communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively. Communication is the key to learning, relationships, and emotional development — and our goal is to ensure every child finds their voice, in whatever form that may be.
We work with children who experience speech delays, unclear speech, stammering, language comprehension difficulties, and social communication challenges. Many of our children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disabilities, and require individualized speech and language support.
Special Education
Special Education at Sankalp Rehabilitation Centre is designed to support children who face challenges in learning, attention, and academic performance. Our goal is to provide individualized education that matches each child’s unique strengths, pace, and learning style — ensuring that learning becomes a joyful and successful experience.
We work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, and other developmental or learning difficulties.
Set-Up At Home
At Sankalp Rehabilitation Centre, we also design and set up customized sensory rooms and home-based therapy environments to help children continue their developmental programs in a familiar and comfortable space. These setups are carefully planned to support sensory integration, motor development, and daily functional activities, ensuring consistent progress beyond the therapy centre.
Our team provides expert guidance on selecting therapeutic equipment, safety materials, and sensory play tools, making home-based therapy effective, engaging, and child-friendly.
